Empire at War Map Creation Challenge!

Officers of the Empire:

Following the release some months ago of the Empire at War Map Editor from Lucasarts/Petroglyph, it is now high time to announce a competition for the creation of a high quality mission...!

The rules of this challenge are simple: Be the first to turn in a high-quality Empire at War mission to VA Jagged Fel. If you do so, you will receive not only the Medal of Tactics afforded to all mission creators, but you will also be the first to create an Empire at War single-player scenario for the combat chamber. And, of course, you will be rewarded for your initiative... You will receive a Bronze Seal!

However, it should be noted that your mission *must* be of good quality. Buggy missions or those that are simply a tiny flat plane with some enemies jammed on it will not qualify. Try to emulate the look and feel of the missions in the game - but do not copy them directly.

Roche: I would believe that since this competition (please excuse my bad spelling) started in January, it is probably over by now.

Actually, it's still in progress, although the medal being offered is now a Silver Seal, not a Bronze.

Until someone makes a better map editor/mission creator, though... I don't expect to see anyone getting something that fits the requirements in.

Well i have been trying to do it, but i use two diffrent sites to download it and nither worked. Where is a good download for it.

There's one question I haven't seen raised about EaW sims: How's it going to be scored?
