Admiral Zwibble out of contact for a few days!

Attention!

Admiral Zwibbles PC is currently out of order, due to a malfunctioning motherboard. Until I have time to drive to Cologne to get a replacement, she will be more-or-less out of contact (because this is MY computer - and I hate other people touching it or screwing up stuff like "posts since your last visit"! :P).

So:

-If you have anything that she should read ASAP - and she, not the Prefect or anybody else, talk to me on messenger or IRC or send ME an email. I will get the stuff to her.

If you have stuff like exams, questions, etc, please direct your mail to the Academy Prefect!

I was going to say because when a new component arrives, first it goes to Vort, and whatever that replaced goes to Zwib.

Yeah, that's the way it works - but at least I am not at the end of the line, lke Doreen. She gets whatever's oldest and left over that we don't want.

Anyway, a friend gave us a pretty much brand-new MB, and that doesn't work either, so it's probably the power supply that's dÃ¶d. There might still be a warranty on that, so hopefully we can get everything replaced and all fancy schmancy. The problem is, of course, that even if there is a warranty we have to wait for them to ship the replacement to us, which takes a few weeks.

So, in the meantime I'll be using my laptop, which should be enough for me to check mail and process cadets and so on. I don't have the answer keys to the exams on here, but since I've corrected about a jillon exams, I think I can reconstruct those from memory without too much hassle.

"A few weeks"

Which is precisely how long until the merriment of celebrating the birth of some guy who got nailed to a tree for saying everyone should be nice to each other.

I really hope they get it shipped to you faster, or you'll be waiting until mid-January.
