New Courses

With the success of the new GE Administration exam, I am looking to expand the Academy's course offering. At this time, I want to focus on real-life skills that officer can make use of, and steer away from exams based on Star Wars trivia. However, if you have an idea for a well-excuted trivia-based exam, don't hesitate to send it to me. Keep in mind, though, that I'm going to be very picky about accepting such exams, so don't attempt one unless you're willing to put in a lot of work!

There is no limit to what I'm willing to consider, as long as it can positively affect the Empire. If you want to create a drink-mixing course, I'm all for it, as long as you can figure out some way to test students' knowledge. That being said, there are some exams I would particularly like to see. I have compiled a list of them below, but please feel free to reply with any exams that you want. Exams are there to serve the members of the GE, so let me know what would serve you best.

If you are interested in creating any of these exams, please first read the Course Proposal Guide and the Course Writer's section of the Academy Handbook (now updated!). If you have any questions about creating exams, please don't hesitate to e-mail me. If you're still interested in creating an exam after you've found out all that it entails, then please e-mail me without delay!

Here are the exams I am currently looking for. Exams with a [name] next to them have already been assigned to the officer whose name is indicated. If you think you could assist in exam creation, feel free to contact these officers and see if they are interested.

I'm already working on a GE Core course, but after I do that (and after I do a number of other web-related projects I have to get done soon) I'd be willing to take HTML. I won't commit to it now, but it's tenative.

As some people know, I have been (and still are - it just takes a lot of time from the little spare time I have) working on several Exams (because I like starting new things that have no deadline while working on others :P). - Roleplaying II (Extended course, aimed at people who want to RP in officerslounge)

Mission creation
I have no idea yet how many courses this will end up as, but I will focus entirely on XWA and they will definitely end as THE tutorial on the net on XWA-mission creation. They will focus not only on how to create a missiong using AlliED, but include (but not limited) tips on creating *authentic* looking, fun missions, having good storylines, avoiding mistakes that ruin even the best mission, etc pp.

I have started to make a few exams. I only have 2 exam in mind. Admiral Zwibble how long do you want an exam to be, and do you want a study guide for the exam. Also what type of questions do you want (mutiply choice and essay).

When you say "Tactics Guide" how do you mean?
Is it still supposed to be questions involved or just a guide?

Appo is still alive , jk well by guide i assume it means guide, but cause this is for new courses it could be for an exam

I went trough some rough times Lieutenant.
It was only thanks to incredibly heroic acts that I managed to survive.
I did it for the greater good of The Empire.
(I was hiding in a little cottage deep inside a great forest).

To the guide, I assume that you would have write questions to this guide then.

I used to be big into exam writing (see the 3ish I've put out and are activily used right now), but I'm not anymore. I may do a PHP exam in the future, but we'll see. I've got the skills, just not the time right now.
