Seriously, though, what has the alliance with the EH given us? The answer: Not much that I know of. Other then being a massive glutton of an organization, what do they have going on that's beneficial to the GE: ER?

Everyone has friends they can't stand, but that's no reason to kill them. Even if they're a mooching scumbag who has no tact and no intelligence, you don't actually kill them.

And as a counterpoint, what have they done that is harmful to the GE:ER (aside from whining about our other alliance)? And what have we given them that we can ask what they have given us?

Wars between online organizations are dumb. Besides, just like wars in real life, most of them end up hurting both sides.

The best thing to do is exactly what we've done - cut ties with them.

Why does everyone care so much? Alliances don't help us. Not once in my 7 years in the GE have I ever seen alliance, wars, or neutrality ever even come into play. If it actually did something - ANYTHING, then I could see people's concern. But it hasn't, so I don't.

Actually, alliances have helped us: ICTE! (And similar things). Plus, alliances help members to get from one to the other. In fact, I found the GE based off of the EH allies page, since I had elected not to join the EH

The DJB's Taldryan JO server is certainly much better than the EH's Obelisk JO server. I mean, disabling all weapons and force powers? Ew.
