Ok all, if anyone wants a neat UserBars type signature bar (like mine), give me a shout, tell me what you want in it, and it'll be made inside a week

No images in the sigs. It leads to an arms race of images until you end up with GI-style stuff... (read: 640x400 image of a Star Destroyer with the words SUPER ULTRA MEGA HYPER SOVEREIGN ECLIPSE CLASS STAR DESTROYER KILLINATOR MSPainted on top).

I personally think they look tidy. As long as we kept them in that compact size wouldn't that be OK? Not everyone has as bad judgement as the GI. And anyway that thin image will take up far less room than the excessive embellishments you have Admiral

Just set a limit in width, height and file size and enforce it draconially. Anyone who violates this limit gets banned for a few days.

I am usually a signature-nazi, but I think that the one presented by Draz is very eye-pleasing and a very nice addition indeed, so I think for something like this, we should not enforce that rule.

Noting support for this, we'll look into making an official set that can be used and those are on the "okay" list and all others are not permitted. I'll get back to everybody on this soon...

I am happy for small sig images such as Draz (with almost exactly the same dimensions) to be allowed. And Fel - let them make their own to our specs

I agree with Vort, this signature is thin, simple and looks good. We should make this exact type of signature a standard to follow. But we should avoid individual banners, if this is admited then each squadron should have one single signature for all its pilots. The same applies for other units ofcourse :p

I have commissioned Mr. Drazhar to make a banner for each squadron, company, support ship, capital ship, and brigade...

There will be an official, GE-hosted set (as you will see) which will be the ONLY permissible ones...

I'll just join the crowd here - Draz displayed a nice amount of good taste and consideration with that one. Most signature pics I see anywhere I just plain horrible
