Seeing as this is an Army platform game, I have moved this thread from Imperial Navy into the Imperial Army section...

On another note, since BF II offers Space and Land battles could it not be considered both?

It's an Army platform despite this, this is the reason for the Admiral's moving it.

True, but the space battles also allow boarding troops landing on ships and fighting on foot, making the space battles in essence part "land" as well.
