Triumphant Return

Yes, it is I, Rommel making a triumphant return to the GE. Due to real-life circumstances, and a gain in general free time, I am able to execute any duties placed before me. For all you old timers, you know who I am... As for the new people, I 'm sure you'll get to know me. I'll be working towards a full active status as soon as possible. We'll see where everything falls from there.

Hehe, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised - people of ISB always had the habit of just disappearing without a word, so I suppose it's just logical that they also drop out of nowhere later on

I dont know what they might give you for work, but i know the army is comeing up along with an open spot of Director of Recon.

AWOL blah... I did email the GA on my inactive status, it just took a while to get the rosters updated. I mean honestly, that's a good excuse. And who said I wanted the All-High-Godlike-Uber-Generadmiral rank? At least give me a chance here, Syrt. But if you really want to punish me for AWOL, it's fine with me. We need a trial around here anyway.

*I* don't have any say in the GE anymore, since I retired from it. All I ever do is hang around this place and speak out things everyone would rather ignore. At least it sometimes looks like that. Or maybe I am on drugs without knowing it - you know, aliens abducting me by night and returning me in the morning. Hmm... actually, this would explain why I am so tired most of the time.... intersting. I'll have to investigate this matter... :P

sir, i dont know you but i'm willing to help. here are positions that you might like... at least i'd like'm

1. Director of Reconnaissance Operations

2. Commander of the Army

3. Imperial Navy Tactical Coordinator

4. Planetary Governor of Bastion

5. Planetary Governor of Naboo

We have opened up others parts like Imperial intell which you might like to join. any way i probably look stupied telling a general what positions are open, but i'm just trying to help. any way i want to know what imperial intell does, i myself want to make a clone and see what i can do there...

I shall repeat what I said online:
How about leaving these jobs to people who worked for them and earned them, than giving them out to people who return from the RES? "Hey, you worked hard for two years, but guess what - we'll give that position you worked for to this guy who just came back from two years in the reserves."

I always hated that about the GA and hope that this is another "feature" of the old GE that will die....

I second that. It really is something that needs to be changed. And I'll be highly impressed with you guys if you manage to get rid of these kinds of "Really Wrong Issues (tm)" that were common under the command of Daemon.
