ICTE yesterday was fun. I played a girl who says she used to be with the GE. To think I wouldnt have even been here at home if I hadn't gotten sick. My voice was (and to a certain extent, still is) gone and I couldn't go to the speech and debate tournament... Which kind of sucks because districts is next weekend. It, however, is being hosted in town, so I should be home in time for a round or two of ICTE. Bleh... Fun times.

So after ALC Nexant sent the email to 1st and 2nd brigades via the googlegroups things, I replied with my application. Definitely didn't notice that the TO box said "2nd-Brigade@googlegroups.com" instead of "scot968@hotmail.com."

Nothing much happening here. The ICTE site hasn't listed the archive for 2/25 so I cant report my activity in it and I forgot to take screenies. Bleh.

I got third in the JO ladders. Whee. I was looking at college crap and couldn't participate in ICTE or Empire Day last Saturday, which sucked.

In other news, since nothing seems to be happening, I am re-reading the New Jedi Order series. I am about finished with Vector Prime for the first time since 2000 or so when it was published. Fun! There are so many references in there that I've noticed that I understand simply because I'm more thoroughly informed about Star Wars. Part of it mentions an Interdictor, and of course I can picture it in my mind. In the end, when they bring the shield-ships in, I can see them too (I have the Essential Guide to Ships, Vehicles, and Vessels). And character cameos! Yowza! I say it's a great series, but I get all the references and stuff. Maybe someone not as versed in star wars wouldnt appreciate it as much??
