Steel and the raiders of the lost banner - Psi banner comp

And yet another chance to get an easy shinny :p

I need a new banner for Psi. The old one has the wrong fighter displayed and it is, well, old fashioned.

So I ask all the creative officers out there to send me a few standard sized banners for the Psi squadron. The Starfighter of choice is the TIE Advanced. Please send all submissions to ge_steel@freenet.de

The competition will be closed when the one banner is found.

Darth Vader Tie Advanced or Tie Avenger Tie Advanced?

Lord Vader's craft was an experimental TIE designated the TIE/X1 Prototype. The craft Lieutenant Commander Steel refers to are the production-run TIE Advanced, or TIE Avengers as they were nicknamed by test pilots.

Why are the angularities of the TIE Adv so hard to draw?

I made one that looks like a Picasso rendition of a TIE Advanced...

*really hopes his TIE Fighter game will start working again, and hopefully with sound this time after having stopped working after installing the sound patch for XP...*

Back when I was twelve or something, I started a personal project to draw every fighter in the SW universe. I managed three or four fully coloured pictures with stats(Taken from XWA) before I found something more interesting to do. I probably still have them around somewhere, but I have no idea where. The A-Wing was pretty nice, even if I do say so.

Anyway, upload your picasso rendition. I'm curious as to what it'd look like. A T/A after it crashlanded on an ISD's hangar deck, bashing through a couple of TIEs on the way?

Considering the size restraints, I was thinking of having either a slew of fighters rushing the viewer or having one fighter on one side shooting something that explodes on the other side with text in the middle or something.

Yeah. The left-hand wing was done in blue pen, while the rest of it was in pencil... Don't know where that green came from...

You probably used for a moment a yellow one and then tried to correct the error by writting over it with the blue one :p
