Tactical Co-Ordinator & Free Worlds Status

Officers of the Empire:

It is my sad duty to inform you that Commodore Vortagh, for technical reasons, has had to step down from the post of tactical co-ordinator. We hope he will return to our ranks at some point in the future, when all is well on the technical front.

Mr. Vortagh held two main jobs: Tactical Co-ordinator and Free Worlds Emperor.

With regards to the TC position, I have appointed Line Captain Wedge ( wraith_leader@hotmail.com ) to the position of TC. Though he remains at the rank of CL, he officially joins the Imperial High Command...

And for free worlds, at the request of Mr. Vortagh, Commander Laithlis will be taking over as Free Worlds Emperor. I am sure he's made that information available to all Imperial FW players. Please check in with Mr. Laithlis (if you are a FW player) as soon as possible.

I would like to add my congratulations to both, I'm sure they will fill the posts well in Vortagh's absence. I also hope that he can patch things together with his computer systems successfully! However, I'm sure things are left in good hands...

Well, I'm officially back from the Hardware-dead. With a bit of borrowed equipment, some leftover electronics from a friend, my trusty and expensive-as-hell sodering iron and some software from the local insane admin-living-in-the-neighbourhood, I managed to get the drive running long enough to live for a few hours so I can pull the data from it and get my data drive set up again (250 GB, 2GB of that left empty :P).

I set up Zwibs PC with nearly all my stuff and short of a Win2003 installation to replace her 2k one and putting FC4 Linux on my leftover SCSI, I am ready to roll.
