NEW CO FOR SPEARHEAD!

Greetings.
After a difficult decision, because the candidates were excellent, the MAA BRG Jagged Fel, GEN Jansen and I have agreed that the best trooper for the position of CO of SPEARHEAD is SGT Klanderman.
Therefore, from now, SGT Klanderman will be.....

ALT Klanderman/Spearhead CO/1st Brigade, ICorps/Imperial Army

Congrats, ALT Klanderman!
ALT Klanderman is an excellent official, very active and that has experience of command, since he has replaced his CO in numerous opportunities.
Congratulations again, ALT Klanderman, and that is lucky with his new obligations!

And you can drop the "Army" from "Army Lieutenant"... I believe it's implied.

Yes, but it's clumsy, and in the GE it is premissable to shorten a rank's name in informal situations (such as Lt. Commander to Commander, Rear Admiral to Admiral, etc).

Just a thought, mind you.

Yes, you adress them as Admiral, or General ect, but what I was arguing (Not that I"m arguing) Is that the name of the rank is Army Lieutenant.

La Forge is correct, the "Army" is more there to distiguish the abbreviation from LT. You don't really need the word "Army". Same thing with ALC, the A's only there to seperate from LC.
