Greetings Members of the Empire!



A short and long overdue memo is contained herein to relay some important information… please read carefully!



Combat Ladder results!


The long overdue announcement of these ladder results has meant that the number of matches has increased, which I am happy about. From now on, you will not be able to sign up and report after the closing date. Also, to encourage overall playing, the ladders will run for longer – a period of 3 months at a time; split seasonally (Dec, Jan, Feb = winter for example). This should ensure better rewards for the best combatants.



The results of the ladders are:

XvT: 1st LT MAR, 2nd CD Zwibble (no awards here)

XWA: 1st LT MAR, 2nd WC La Forge, 3rd COL Jagged Fel, where LT MAR receives the IVC-SW for his efforts

JO: 1st CPL Klandermann, 2nd JLT Foley, 3rd LCP Burton where they receive the IVC-SL, IVC-BL and MoM respectively

JA: 1st JLT Foley, 2nd LCP Burton, 3rd PV2 Marks where they receive the IVC-BL, MoM, MoM respectively

GB: 1st LCP Burton, 2nd CPL Klandermann (no awards)



There was a lot of activity, with 62 reported matches – keep it up! Good work from some of the more junior army officers, they appear to be in training well… This sees LCP Burton enter the “Expert Combatants” at number 15, and I expect this to rise after the next set of ladders… < http://empirereborn.net/excombat.php >

Meetings


I will announce a new meeting shortly once I have spoken with the High Command about a suitable Saturday. However, it is custom to hold meetings on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month (not 5th if there is one). Therefore the next scheduled meeting should occur on the 2nd October. IRC is open all the time, and you are highly encouraged to be there when you have free time (as well as on the instant messengers). Please note: Good Officer conduct should be maintained on all messaging systems, including the message boards, emails and IRC.



Console support


There is an idea to accept console applications due to the rising level of technology on XBOX and similar. Please post your views and experiences in the dedicated forum located at: http://empirereborn.net/holonet/viewforum.php?f=26 .



Officer review


This is a reminder that officer reviews are due by the 24th. ALL current command staff at all levels are certainly expected to respond in time, and it is highly encouraged that all other staff also respond (it is basically mandatory). Please endeavor to complete the request – it should take less than 15mins to complete.
