It may seem like that at first because the GE (or any organization) is generally a confusing place to jump in to. It might also be that your CO is not doing his job by helping you, etc. Get on his case about if he's not (that means send him a professional email asking what to do, etc).

You might also want to read the Officer's Manual. See the sections on command; this will let you know who's where.

And finally: Admiral Polanski is in complete command of *everything*. Never doubt that for a second.

A) It's WC La Forge; I got a promotion a long time ago.

B) Sure, go for it. Try to keep your grammer, spelling, etc good, though. And no CAPS LIKE THIS. It will not help any, can be replaced by bolding/italicizing, and gets a bit annoying, if you know what I mean.
C) Get your ID Line in your signature. What you have is not an ID Line.
D) Questions should really go to your CO, via email if you can (though here does work quite well if you want multiple answers)..

Fel: My use of Commander is the same as the use of Commander for Lt. Commander; it is valid in all but the formal instances.

He's right. CM is the rank of Commander, not the abreviation for the title. :P

Just a side note- bit isn't it regulation to keep your I.D lines and stuff up-to-date in the message boards?
