AAE Update

Some of you may have noticed by now that your medals line is slightly different. This is because of the following.

By order of the Supreme Commander, only one AAE may be earned for each exam. For instance, if you took mIRC I and scored a 89%, then took it again and scored an 85%, then you will recieve credit for the 89% in your medals line.

Both exams will still show up on the "Certifications" page of the profile, you just won't have any medals credit for the exams with weaker scores.

This does not effect everyone, just those officers who have taken the same exam twice for credit (LT Mar, CD Zwibble, and others come to mind). Furthermore, if you have taken an exam but got Historical credit for it (instead of the normal medal) and then take that exam again and get a score, then you WILL still recieve AAE credit. Admiral Polanski, Commodore Zwibble, I need to know if this is the behavior you want.

So, people, check and update your ID Lines everywhere. They might be different.

Okay, talked to Commodore Zwibble, and it has been decided: Any course that has earned you AAE credit will not earn you AAEH credit. For instance, look at the Commodore's profile:

She took the Navy Officer's Exam twice: Once before this medal came out, and once after. She gets the credit for the 100%, but the older, scoreless exam does not earn AAEH credit anymore.

Again, people, update your signatures and whatnot.

(PS HCers, if you don't like this, let me know and I'll change it back. Just so long as it comes from either the SC or HC as a whole... don't want to have to change it back and forth 5 times

Whoops, I went and got rid of all my historical AAEs by grading my Squadron leadership exam (I promise I really did get 100% when I took it

). I've deleted that exam so that people can see the example, but I'll change it back in a few days.

Mr. Munro Benton showed me an error which has now been corrected. If you notice any other problems with your medals line (for instance, if it's obvious you should have an AAE but don't), let me know in this forum or on IRC.
