Officers of the Empire:

Just a quick notice: I will be taking a leave, starting on the 15th of July and ending sometime in the afternoon of August 2nd. I know it's a bit long, but I haven't taken a full leave like this in a year, so bear with me.

Certain people will get an email regarding this soon enough.

Meh, General, Vort just told me he has 50 pilot files of his own which need review. I would hate to accidently let slip that you'd be wiilling to look over them all. What a shame that would be.
