Well, we all know that, for instance, the Chimaera is in SecGroup1, and the Nemmy is in SG2, and so on. I don't mean the SF: No one really remembers that, anyway. :P

In any event, remember it or not, it's still easy enough to look up that putting it in the ID Line is dumb, especially when you consider that the formal ID Lines generated by PHP don't have it. It's just another confusing aspect of things.

Considering a Corps is made up of 3 Brigades, we could very well have more than one Corps sometime in the future. We decided it would be good to distinguish each corps in ID lines.

Its not important at the moment, but will be on the list to do..

FYI.. The Army is not part of the Navy and thus we do not follow the Navy way of doing things..

Of course. Problem is, the Army isn't following the way Pol coded PHP to do it, and it leads to some confusing discrepancies.

It makes since actually, LaForge. Eventually, we may end up with 3 1st Brigades and if you didn't put the corps in, people would get confused about which chain of command they followed.

It's something the Navy doesn't have to worry about since we won't have two Chimaeras, just one, and the squadrons all have different names.

The problem's root is really from the GE Wide specification of the ID-Lines. The Navy fits in well, but the Army has a problem with fitting the specification, as it requires an extra entry. This was not originally coded as begin possible, which is why things are not right.

It can be done in the future :)

I wouldnt make it a priority. Unless you start cloning people or get a mad rush in army membership we got abit to go before we reach 3 full brigades to start another Corps. This Corps we already have still has several command positions and many officer positions to fill and probably some people that can be taken out for being AWOL before we will need individual Corps designations.

There also seems to be a current lack of interest in joining probably end of summer type of thing people are going on their last vacations / running about to supply kids with school supplies and all too. Its been noticably slower at work to for similar reasons.

Everytime I get online I check the roster page and the Army has been stuck on 36 for alittle while now. But I noticied Navy finally passed us up with 37 now. Just horrible.. :P

For the record, the Navy has always been higher. It so happened that the Army caught up a bit, but the Navy is pulling ahead again. :P

And it's rather amusing too since there are almost as many cadets in just the BF training unit then there are cadets for all Navy platforms.

It's simple math. 13 cadets split between the 4 Navy platforms against 12 in the BF unit alone, along with 9 for JA, 5 for GB, 2 for FC, 3 JK, amd 2 JO for a whopping total of 33 Army cadets.
