<FA_Fel> 2) Fall Ladders Open
<FA_Fel> The obvious follow-up to the previous announcement is that the ladders have been reset and are now open for gaming!
<FA_Fel> They remain open until the end of the year - 2008-12-31.

<FA_Fel> 3) GE Site Graphical Upgrade
<FA_Fel> Some of you may have already noticed that earlier today an updated version of the Empire Reborn site went live today. The new site is a joint effort between Admiral Polanski and myself, with the banner being contributed by VA JaggedFel.
<FA_Fel> There is obviously the new colour scheme and graphics, but more importantly, the site is now able to resize to your browser width as desired. The previous version was "fixed" at a certain width - now it will accommodate your browser as desired. Usability has been improved.
<FA_Fel> This was rather long overdue in that the old layout had been virtually unchanged in the four and a half years since the rebirth of the Empire...

<FA_Fel> 4) GE Administration Upgrade
<FA_Fel> A number of elements of the GE site were worked on "behind the scenes" to improve performance and eliminate issues.
<FA_Fel> GE Administration has been improved greatly (thanks mostly to work by VA JaggedFel). Most of these changes will not affect you, but they make task processing much easier for High Command...

<FA_Fel> Given that the GE:ER participates every week in the Inter-Club Training Event (ICTE), the information has now been placed on the main GE site: http://www.empirereborn.net/icte.php . Please read it before participating in the ICTE in #outerrim after the meeting!

<FA_Fel> 6) GE Section Hierarchical Layout
<FA_Fel> Among the many aspects of the GE Site that needed improvement, the previous section overview page was less than clear about the organization of the Empire.
<FA_Fel> The section page has now been replaced with a hierarchical view, that shows much more clearly what the layout of the Imperial Forces is. To view the Navy: http://www.empirereborn.net/section.php?id=1 and the Army: http://www.empirereborn.net/section.php?id=9

<VA_JagFel> Activity has still not returned to pre-OS levels, although there are a few FPRs waiting to be processed.
<VA_JagFel> I realize that some of the more involved officers in Outer Sectors completed most of the simulations in the Combat Chamber, but I'm sure you didn't finish them all so there is still work to be done!
