I'm very sorry for my absense. Grandma came into town for the first time in 20 years and I thought it would be important to take some time to be around her.
Now I would like to welcome our new junior officer, Ensign Dustrider to the Chimaera and the Aurek bridge crew staff. I have sent a complementary bottle of champagne enjoy it because you job isn't going to get any easier.
Like I said before I have intrusted Konigstiger with the teaching of Dustrider. All this means is that Konigstiger is going to show Dustrider what he needs to be a capable officer and what he will need to do and act like to advance through our ranks. I believe I sent a email already telling Konigstiger this, so they should have started already, but I expect a lowered period of actvity from him because of his scholaral duties.
Dustrider has commented to me that the combat chamber missions arn't uploading for him. I told him I would upload the archive and give it to him via email. That shall be done very soon meaning that as soon as my AIM Mail account lets me. It locks up right now when I try to do that.
Next there is a Navy-wide AWOL check going around. I need any of you who haven't already to send a email to Jagged Fel telling him that you are sticking around.

LC Steel's Banner Comp.
He wants a banner of a TIE Advanced. It must have that ship in the background and it must include their motto. Go to their homepage on the empire reborn's roster page for an idea.
LT Falcon's Aurek Crew Member of the Year.
This comp is in full swing now, so everything you do will be taken into full account. The following is the point system.
Sending a report: 1/2 a point
IRC Presence: 1/2 a point
Completing a sim: 1 point
ICTE: 1 point
Fiction: 1 point
Ladder match: 2 points
Making a new sim: 2 points
Other: 1 point
Points will be put together each week and added to your total. At the end of the year I will calculate the points and the one with the highest score wins. By the way, if you send in a report then that is half a point and visiting IRC will get you the other half. I will get you doing what most officers do.

Has reported in the last couple of weeks. Someone told me he visited the IRC page too, so thats an extra half a point.
EN Dash Dustrider: 1/2 point
Good job on reporting in Dash. I am counting your orientation this week because of your presense and ability to reply quickly and promply to my questions.

Orders are same as always.
1. Do a comp! There are plenty to choose from. Reporting in and going to our channel on IRC will get you points in mine.
2. Go Recruit. We are at an all time low right now and getting new recruits would be awesome, so if you can do something to help that would be great.
3. Fly a mission. Turning in five sims will get you a MoC which looks good when you want a command position. Its really fun try it out.
4. Have Fun. You understand.
I know I should change these, but they worked for Drazhar and they will work for me. :)
