Captain LtCmdr Eddard Stark: I have been able to find some time to play some EAW. I am currently in 5th place. I have also been quite active on IRC. I completed the first assigned task as set out by Cmdr LaForge and have previously completed his 2nd task. I have been placed in temporary command of both the FRG Tsunami and FRG Thunderbolt. With this unusual command system for SF2 being used Captain Calder has seen fit to promote me to Lieutenant Commander.

XO Sub-Lieutenant Roche: Got a Bronze Seal from Commander La Forge for his work on the upcoming Striker website. Applied for FRG Thunderbolt's CO position. Played with EN Bramall in the EaW Ladders and EaW Campaign Ladders. Still working on XWA mission and done an Exam for the Imperial Academy, it was sent for reviewing. Was in MSN, IRC and AIM

It is my duty to inform you that Line Captain La Forge has elected to step down from the position of Senior Fleet Officer, and has chosen to accept the position of first officer of the Victory Star Destroyer Striker, serving under his former superior, Line Captain Calder.
Following the resignation of Line Captain La Forge from the position of Senior Fleet Officer, I have undertaken a personal search to identify the officer most deserving of the promotion to the position of Senior Fleet Officer - and it is my pleasure to announce that I have found the right person for the job!

... and confer upon him the privileges and duties of the Senior Fleet Officer.
The Senior Fleet Officer is one of the closest-serving officers to the Supreme Commander... A figurehead of the Imperial Fleet, he commands the ISD Chimaera: flagship of the Supreme Commander and the entire Galactic Empire. The SFO may also serve as an assistant to the Commander of the Navy in overseeing division operations.
Please extend to him your congratulations!
In related news, as announced at the meeting, Wing Commander Muscat will be stepping down on 1 June, so Captain Laithlis is presently in need of a first officer! I am certain you will be hearing from him soon on the details.
It should also be noted that having spoken with Vice Admiral Zwibble, the position of Prefect will no longer be available. At present the Vice Admiral is able to handle the relevant paperwork herself, and so the prefect position is no longer necessary.

Officers of the Empire:
General Jansen has performed admirably in his role as the GE's ambassador, but he had expressed to me a desire to focus on other priorities, so I undertook a search for a qualified candidate to take over from him...
In doing so I found a very qualified reserve officer. However, it has been the determination of Imperial High Command in the past that the duties of the Ambassador are insufficient to justify a full-time position.
To that effect, it was considered necessary to find a different position, and the most logical (and unfortunately, at the present time, necessary), is the position of Procurator of Justice. Like Ambassador, this position is also not considered to be a full-time position, however, combining both the Ambassador and Procurator of Justice positions will be enough.
Allow me to introduce the new Ambassador, and new Procurator of Justice: Lord Syrtaras.
I hereby reinstate him as...
Lord Syrtaras / Procurator of Justice / CRKC Interrogator / The Emperor's Court
... noting that the Carrack-class Cruiser Interrogator is a special-operations vessel attached to The Emperor's Court and remains at the disposal of the Procurator of Justice to assist him in carrying out his duties throughout the Empire.

The fourth Guard Games are now open! Those wishing to become a Royal Guardsman may enter and face each other as well as current Guardsmen to become part of this elite group of warriors.
Be warned; due to the lacklustre committment to participation in the Third Games, those who don't turn up and play their opponent in time will be eliminated immediately.
On a lighter note, the Distraction tournaments won't be returning this year. Instead, there will be free-for-all battles requiring at least four players to be played. I also want to remind the Navy that their members can participate - this is a GE-wide competition, not one simply restricted to Imperial Army members.
Read the Events page. There have been many changes from the previous Games. If I am asked anything which can be answered by reading the Events page, I will respond with RTFEP and consider you an idiot for the duration of the Games.

Officers of the Empire:
I am happy to announce the release of the new holonet site of the VSD Striker! I've been developing it for a few weeks now and it's finally released the point where I can show the world.
The site features:
Dynamically generated information, pulled from both striker files and the Empire's database;
A fully featured administrative area capable of updating news, events, and standing orders (among other things) that are shown on the site;
Full BBCode compliance with all major text areas; and
Lots of other goodies that you'll have to look around to see.
This site, as many will be dismayed to hear, does not feature the Ping Pong application that was so popular with the Chimaera website I built. Oh well.
The site was coded fully in PHP and makes use of MySQL where appropriate. A good portion of the time spent developing the site was actually just to get the framework in, and it's something I'm reasonably proud of.
At this time the only page without content is the Captain's Office, because I have to talk to CL Calder and see what he wants.

I'm looking for constructive criticism, so if you have something to say, please do so, but do so nicely.
