An explanation of the colour-codes: GREEN indicates has been in contact within the
last week (at minimum); YELLOW indicates between one and two weeks ago (get in contact
with me!), and RED indicates a time period longer than two weeks (get in touch NOW!).
*** Squadron News ***
Due to the continuing repairs on the Chimaera, Iota Squadron are currently stationed
aboard the VSD Warhammer. We were all taken slightly by surprise by this, which happened
without any notification or communication at all from High Command – indeed, it was only
discovered when I happened to look at the rosters! Fortunately we had time to pack our
bare essentials (which for some of the squad included large amounts of a certain
intoxicant).
Morale in the squad is relatively low, not a shock considering our circumstances.
Sub-Lieutenant O'Moran, Lieutenant Drazhar and Ensign Alex have all been in contact with
me recently and all are hoping to see our situation improve before long. Ensign Lore was
due to return from leave some two weeks ago and has so far failed to contact me, despite
several E-mails sent to him from all members of the squadron. It is possible, however
unlikely, he's arrived at Contruum looking for his Alpha Squadron fighter! Attempts to
contact him will continue until the end of the week, at which time I will file an AWOL
request if they are unsuccessful.
I hope that the squad continue to maintain activity levels through this period. We may
no longer be aboard the Flagship, but that doesn't mean we can sink to the level of the
rest of the Fleet. :-P
*** Personal News ***
In the next 17 days I will face no fewer than 10 A-level exams for a total of
14.75 exam-hours. Engaging panic circuits. Panic circuits engaged. PANIC!!
On an important note, as of the end of this month the E-mail address
MuscatJ@student.havant.ac.uk will become defunct. When it does so, my
jamesremuscat@yahoo.co.uk address will again become my primary contact address. Please
update your address books accordingly – the two addresses will run in parallel until
then so you can make the change NOW!
