-Squadron news-
The Iota website is now open, and may be viewed at http://iota.empirereborn.net/! Please tell me what you think of it. If you'd like to suggest changes or additions to the site, let me know as well.
-Personal news and activity-
I spent a fair amount of time coding and managed to get the Iota website finished and working (see the note above). Aside from that, I was rather busy in real-life and didn't get much GE-related work done, but the coming weeks should see more activity on my part (and, I hope, on the part of the squadron as well).
As always, if you need something done or need help with anything, let me know and I'll do what I can to assist.

-Promotions, medals and honors-
None this week. I hope to see more pilot files being submitted within the next weeks.
-Recruitment-
There were no additions to Iota's roster this week.
-Orders-
Per Fleet Admiral Fel's instructions, all pilots must report to me within the next ten days, or be declared AWOL. Naturally, I know this won't be a problem for you. :-) But please do try to stay in contact with me and your squadmates on at least a weekly basis, if not more. I can't know that you're actively participating in the GE if I don't hear from you.
Ensign Casino and Ensign First Class Ace: You have not contacted me at all since I took command of the squadron. This is your last chance to do so. If I have not heard from you within one week, you will be removed from Iota Squadron.
If you have not already done so, please sign up for the GE message boards. They're a great way to stay in touch with other officers and keep yourself informed of GE news. (To the best of my knowledge, this means SL O'Moran, EF Hermann and EN Casino.)
For those of you who are able to fly (myself regrettably not among them), consider flying some Combat Chamber missions you haven't yet completed. Remember that flying GE missions is rewarded with the Medal of Combat!
Try to participate in some of the ongoing competitions listed below.
If you notice anything on the GE website that isn't as it should be - typos, incorrect or confusing information, pages that don't work properly, etc. - file a bug report with the GE bug tracking system.
-Current GE activities-
The end date for newsletter submissions has been moved back one week, to allow for more participation. Fiction, banners and posters are just some of the possibilities. Contributions should be sent to Line Captain La Forge at sfo@empirereborn.net, and any officer who submits material will receive a Meritorious Contribution Commendation.
FA Fel is looking for a high-quality custom EaW mission, and has promised a Bronze Seal to the first officer to submit one.
If I've missed anything that should be listed here, email me and I'll include it in my next report.
