XWA Pilotfile Viewer 3001 <light>.
This file was last updated 2001.11.02.

SYSTEM REQIUREMENTS: Windows 95/98/2000/nt or newer.
This program is developed using X-Wing Alliance 2.02 and on a PII@468 MHz with 256mb Ram and 16mb RivaTNT graphics and running Win 2000 Pro. Programmed with Borland Delphi 6.0

INSTALLATION:

Just unzip and run "XWAPFVLite.exe". This program is just one single exe file.

FEATURES:

With this program you can view the details in a XWA pilotfile without starting XWA itself. All the details you can see about the pilot inside XWA you find with this program.

NEWS SINCE THE LAST VERSION:

- If you wish you will not have to see all those "save log" popup windows everytime you close the program. You can disable this in the settings window.

- New data availible for you to view:
	- Total number of fired laser rounds.
	- Number of laser rounds to hit target.
	- Laser hit percentage. (calculated)
	- Total number of fired Warheads.
	- Number of Warheads to hit target.
	- Laser hit percentage. (calculated)

I'm pretty sure theese values are just shows the Tour Of duty data. It's quite boring to fly missions and count lasers / warheads so I just have not search for the Azzameen or Multiplayer data. =)

- Minor, non-visual, updates in the code that saves changes to the plt file.

- Other very small changes here and there...

HOW TO USE THIS PROGRAM:

The first time you start the program it creates a file named "xwapfv3001.ini" in your windows directory. It's a ordinary text file and the program uses it to save the stuff in the settings window.

The buttons in the main window (the first window you see when you start the program):

"Open pilotfile" - This let you select a XWA pilotfile and the opens a new window in witch you can view the details in the pilotfile.

"Save log" - This saves the text in the main log to the file you have specified in the settings window (see below).

"Save log as" - This let you select a file to save the main log to.

"Clear text" - Clear the text in the log text window.

"Settings" - Opens the settings window.

"About" - Shows info about the program.

"Save log and Exit" - This saves the text in the main log to the file you have specified in the settings window and exit the program.

"Exit" - Exits the program.

UNINSTALL

If you want to remove the program simply delete the teo files: XWAPFVLite.exe and xwapfv3001.ini.

PROBLEMS/BUGS

If you change the active mission in a pilotfile bakwards, i.e. from mission 20 to mission 15, the total scores in your file will show the wrong values. Some total-score values will change to a new, lower, value but other will stay the same. So beware...

If you get problems with this program try this in the following order:
(If the problem is not solved after each point try the next in the list.)
1. Exit and restart the program.
2. Exit, delete the file "xwapfv3001.ini" and restart the program.
3. Say a little prayer and try point 2 again.
4. Say a little longer prayer and try point 2 again.
5. Curse a bit, restart you OS and try again.
6. Scream out very load (it make you feel a little bit better).
7. Write a bug-report to me (EH_Mycroft@sverige.nu).
8. Wait for a updated version of the program. :-)
