Greetings and Happy News Years!

I apologize for not having last weeks report out, but to be honest it was a crap week and a lot of RL stuff was going on so I just really had very little time to get things done around here. However I did get some things done last week, though very lacking of what I had hoped to complete, but hopefully this report will cover everything for you gentlemen. So without further postponement here is my second report as the 2nd Platoon Leader of Hornet Company.

Jedi Outcast Multi-Player

I've been doing my fair share of getting on JO and gaming, flying the GE tags of course. I've had a few people ask about us and I think I'm beginning to make a name for our little club on the more popular JO pubs such as Clan Apathy etc. I must say my personal skills on the game have gone down from lack of playing but intend to improve over time. I'm trying to get back in touch with my gunning skills but that may take longer than I had originally intended. I've asked around a bit among other GE members for JO matches but no go there. Hopefully GE gaming in the JO division will pick up though. :-)

GE:ER Recruiting

I've noticed our numbers are down since oh say 5 years ago, so I've been putting some effort forward into trying to bring back some old vets and some new bloods. While playing JO I have met some really good players that seem to be interested, and I'm waiting to hear from them via e-mail. but hopefully we'll have us some new and "active" recruits very soon, if not some returning veterans! More on this in my next report.

Personal Fiction Writing

As I'm sure several of you have already read I've been doing some work on just writing personal fiction pieces on the forums. They are just little short stories that I thought would be entertaining for everyone. Note that I started one named Operation Pandora but after speaking with some ranking officials, we've decided to convert it over to a full scale operation which you will read about later on. You can find the fiction pieces on the message forums though, so have fun and I hope everyone enjoys.

As simple as it reads, I've been communicating with multiple people including all of you via e-mail.

Internet Relay Chat

Also as simple as it reads, I've been doing my best to stay in touch on IRC though that has been a bit difficult here recently. Hopefully this will improve over the next week or two - I'd also like to note I am impressed to see the amount of activity on IRC from Hornet Company and the Army as a whole. Good work. :-)

Operation : Pandora In Development

Operation Pandora is currently in development, and I'll be releasing what I've got to the Company Commander, and Brigade Commander most likely by midway into next week. So keep your eyes peeled, as it should turn out to be a blast. Currently I've got a Run-On, Gaming Ladders, and other goodies planned out for it. Just working out an awarding system and all for it then it should be ready for release. Anyone interested in contributing some last minuet ideas to this is more than welcome to, just e-mail it to me.

As you can obviously see, I've been writing my reports the best I can.



2nd Platoon Standing Assignment

2nd Platoon has recently completed its mission on planet D'Skar and has moved to deep orbit of the planet Rhumimir, both of which are in the Ossirag System, awaiting final call for Operation Pandora. So until further notice the current location of 2nd Platoon is Osirrag System, Planet Rhumimir Deep Orbit, VSD Advocate, under the direct command of Sergeant Destavol Gin.
