RE: After action report regarding Outer Sectors Campaign on Planet k-214356

Gentlemen I hope this clears up some things for you. All of our MIA's have been accounted for as KIA or WIA except for These 2 HVC-2214 and HVC-2230
This log pulled from the remains of one of our Forward operating bases on k-214356 may shed some light on their status.

\BEGIN LOG FILE\

EMERGENCY LOG DUMP FORWARD OUTPOST T755
DESTRUCTION OR CAPTURE IMMINENT: FLASH DUMPING ALL CRITICAL DATA
PROTOCOL 16 ENACTED
TIMESTAMP 13:35.56h UT 19/05/12A.E. Local time 17:35.56h

"Lt. Wellen?"

"What is it Corporal?"

"Sir, Recon team 6 in SectorA7 has failed to report in."
"Corporal we've had problems with communications in that sector this entire Offensive. Wait another 5 minutes for them to get to higher ground. If they don't report in by then alert me."
"Yes Sir"

Five minutes later.

"Lt. Sir, Team 6 still hasn't reported in."
"Alright Cpl. I'll see if I can get a scout bike team to meet them must have a bad transmitter."
"Central, This is Forward Post T755 I have a Stormtrooper Recon team with a faulty transmitter. Request a biker scout squad with a com. Tech rendezvous with the team in Sector A7 last known grid co-ordinates 34.23.4 lat by 84.55.0 long."
"Co-ordinates confirmed T755, a Squad has been notified and is on route. ETA that position 10 minutes. Keep monitoring for communications from them."

16 minutes after Loss of communication with Sector A7 Recon team 6.

"This is Over-sector bike team C49 to outpost T755 we are on station at the co-ordinates. No sign of team 6. Beginning search of the area."
"Roger, C49. Center your search pattern on a north-eastern heading."
"Affirmative. Lt. Pollack out."

"T755 This is Sgt. Volkien. We found part of your missing team. Looks like NGG-1252 Lt. Vesquez and VLQ-9801 Sgt. Moraine, KIA Sir. HVC-2214 and 2230 are MIA at this time. We are continuing the search but it appears that..." the loud whine of a blaster bolt sounds in the mic. "KRIF! AMBUSH! LT GET DOWN!"

The radio goes silent.

A minute passes by, 2 minutes. Lt. Wellan has started sweating.
"Cpl. Bliss get me Central we may..."
" -static- lack To T755 do you read! we are in Hot -static-uit of a Rebel bike -static- moving through Alpha8 to Beta9. Estimated enemy strength at -static- platoon. I have 3KIA and 2 fighting wounded requesting permission to discontinue pursuit until back up arrives!
"Pollack this is Lt. Wellen Hold your position at the treeline of Beta9. Dig in I have a platoon of army troops and a squad of Stromtroopers inbound to your position, ETA 6 minutes."
"Roger that Lt. There appears to be a small rebel staging area 10 klicks from our position. we were tracking some drag marks this way. Your missing Stormtroopers may have been taken there. I have a spotter on overwatch and he says it looks like a couple of Shuttles. What? Sir, HVC-2190, my spotter just told me he saw what looked like 2 bodies in Stormtrooper Armour being loaded into one of the Shuttles... HOLY SH-
-STATIC-

/END LOG FILE/

This outpost and the surrounding areas were struck from orbit. This is the only part of the log that we could pull from what little was left of the outpost.
Several Shuttles were tracked leaving that area of the planet minutes after the bombardment was initiated. Vectors are still being calculated. Section 2 can initiate recovery operation attempts at the -CENSORED- Discretion.

Recommendations:
1. Use Intelligence Asset Kilo1782x, to locate MIA Troopers. This will force us to extract this asset losing it's usefulness for further Intel
2. Immediately move up operation Free Bird on the most likely targets(see attached report)
3. Wait, Monitor channel 29385 SSB. Troopers will try to E&E and contact us on this channel
4. Close File. Troopers are likely to be extremely resistant, forcing rebels to Execute prisoners post haste.

Thank you. I was trying to get a second viewpoint of this story going(well a viewpoint not in the prison camp.)
I might try and write some more about a possible rescue attempt. Depends on whether or not the Troopers get to a radio or attempt to escape on their own.
