I wanted to express my disapointment in our Imperial Forces for last weekend at the ORW3 competition.

First, before anybody point it out, I can only participate 1 weekend on 2. And this was the weekend where I could not. Even then, I manage to come to IRC late at night and signed up for EAW 1v1 and 2v2. Unfortunatly , even when trying to private message other players, no players were free for some EAW. So I wasn't able to help our Forces.

We have finished in 3th place. Out of 8 clubs. Some will says that this isn't to bad. I would answer : FIRST is where we should be!

My thanks to a few Officers for their dedication. Without them we were facing the SHAME of being last!

Let me make this clear people.

We need PARTICIPATION. This is the key to VICTORY! Only with the full strength of our forces are we going to accomplish this.

I am only satisfied when we are FIRST!!!

Make it happen!

Disappointment, Captain MAR?

Battle 1: 386 points, 9 participants(42.8 average)
Battle 2: 748 points, 13 participants(57.5 average)
Battle 3: 685.5 points, 8 participants(85.7 average)

Yes, I agree that we could have seen more people present. Neverthless, our performance on an average basis is improving steadily.

The only reason we were defeated in the third battle was because we scared the crap out of the Dark Brotherhood with what we achieved in the second battle. They simply threw numbers at us this weekend... compare their scores with the GE ones above.

Battle 1: 774 points, 29 participants(26.7 average)
Battle 2: 758 points, 31 participants(24.5 average)
Battle 3: 1431.5 points, 24 participants(59.6 average)

It's clear that we have a quality advantage - we're using the Massacre strategy, by fielding a few superior players who defeat most of them.

However, something that large simply have to have some good players among them. So they're applying the Attrition and the Balanced Attack strategies.

What the GE - and the Imperial faction - needs is more people. We need the Emperor's Hammer and Vast Empire to ante up more players, while sending up more of our own. If you have any influence with anyone at all in the EH, please encourage them to take part. If their 12 points had been inflated to even half that of ours - something done by only eight people! - the Imperial side will be able to win.

And, of course, turn up and kick the Sith scum and Rebel rabble's backsides!

Well i for one have to be sorry that i couldnt make it this weekend. Had a little party on Saturday and some work to be done on Sunday.. Ill make it up though next weekend

All we can really do is play more matches and get more people. There's nothing more to it. Stop bitching about what the DB is doing and let's start working on improving ourselves and show up like we did in week 2.

I´d really like to, but there´s always the risk that my games don´t work properly because most are not ... ahm ... original enough.

As with connection problems en masse the opponent gets the points it´s risky.
