Nice to see we're huming along here. Also nicer to see that I can now act like a wizen old Admiral (at least part of the time) and heckle people while I waltz around with
my set of golden golf clubs.

Just to let you all know, you can start a new topic!

I'm too fond of this one, though.
And Admiral, since the good Captain Calder is away, do I get to be acting commander of the first Sector Group, along with acting Chimaera Captain and acting SFO?

Oh great :P
Why don't you just get GerDug back and steer the ship into the next black hole? :P
Would save a lot of time! :P

Dying in 'battle' is more honorable than steering the ship into a blackhole.
However, I shall consider your idea, and get back to you.

Don't underestimate my powers. Even at this distance, my reach is sufficient to ensure my wayward first officer doesn't cause *too* much damage.

There is absolutely NO honor in dying in battle. Only in winning and surviving to brag about it. Period. :P
Hmm talking about that, Calder, I just remembered that I still know all those system backdoors on the Chimaera... :P

Rule #20045 onboard the Chimaera: No plotting against La Forge.
And Vort is right: What good is it to you if you're dead?

Rule #0 onboard the Chimaera: Vort is the guy who hears, smells, knows and rules everything. Regardless what others think or might say. :P
Btw, it was YOU who wanted to die in battle, so YOU tell us. :P

Since the OS is canonical; we'll see what we can arrange about satisfying your request

Now, purposly crashing into a capital ship to destroy it and save the fleet isn't honorable? Jeeze, the Mandalorians would have hated you.

Glendon: Nope, stupid.
Vort: *looks on ground and sees shiny-ness* Well, lookee here, a bit of common sense I didn't have when I wrote that post.
But actually, I was just trying to come up with a decent excuse to blow up the flagship.

Glendon: The Mandalorians are dead, whiped from the Galaxy. What does that tell us about dying and honor and crap? :P
LaForge: I knew it was all about the blowing up part, wasn't it? :P

Vort: Well yeah. What else would it be? I gave up my honor two years ago when Falen and I pulled the "Scorpion and Anvil Joke" prank on Calder.

I don't think I remember that one. :P
Oh wait, was that posted on IS.Net? Now that I think about it, I think I remember the scorpion pit or something other with a trapdoor.
