i agree with la forge, i mean a rts can be both, but wouldn't it be more fun for us army men to be upclose an personal blowing the rebel troopers away?, and i have another question, what are all the new units for BF2? I've looked and looked and couldn't find out, so either post it in here or email me, or just put a link in here, that would be nice 2

From what I've seen, it seems that (in the campaign at least) its a space battle and then it goes immediatly into the ground battle with the navy and ground forces effecting the outcome of the other battles (Ion cannons firing at ships, ships bombarding the ground)

Ya, that's how I understand it too. First you fight a space battle and send you troops to the ground, then you fight the ground battle.
I just hope that won't kill the "long term playability" of the game. Has anybody noticed how todays games rock for the first time you play them, but nearly all of them have almost no "replay value"?
Friend of me got GTA San Andreas. Great game (especially on PC), lots of fun, lots of stuff to do - and then it's over. :P
*sigh*

That or you have to take the replays in doses. It like that for me and SW Rebellion. I'm currently into it, cause it seems similar somewhat to EaW. But I'm sure I will be out of it soon, (unless of course one of my new games starts with Thrawn starting on the same planet as Vader and have it turn that he has force abilities, then i'll be playing a lot more.)

After finding out what SW Rebellion was, i wanted to buy it, but now that EaW is coming out, i dont think i'll get it, and i also want SW BF2, so i got lots of money to save up

Also, you'll be able to board ships and then fight to take control of them.
