Officers of the Empire!

As some of you may know, I'm doing some work on the empirereborn.net holonet site, and I need your help. We currently lack a number of division related multimedia of various formats. Here is a list of what we need:

Banners
------
Legion banner
ISB banner
Imperial Intelligence banner
Civil Sector banner
Imperial Army banner
------
Descriptions
------
Navy
Legion
Army
ISB
Imperial Intelligence
Civil Sector
Academy

As you can see, I need descriptions and banners. Here's the requirements for each type of submission:

Banners
------
Must be 400x100
Jpeg format
Sections's motto should be included

Descriptions
------
Must be 100 words, but no longer than 1000
Must be an "in-character" description of the Section
Can not reference to any officers, past or present, beyond the Supreme Commander
Should be "Imperial-sounding"

That's all I need. Email this stuff to la_forge@imperialsquadrons.net as soon as you complete it. I'll take the best submission for each category, and send it to the Supreme Commander for approval and upload. Note that the creators of the submissions used on the website will be awarded with a medal from Admiral Polanski.

I want to see a lot of submissions. Get on it.

Alright, a couple of notes concerning this:

1) Yes, I know that some of the stuff I requested is for inactive divisions. I did this intentionally. I still would like materials I asked for above, regardless of the status of the section.

2) The creators of used submissions will most likely be recieving an award for their work, so if you're looking to pick up a IVM or similar, give it a shot.

3) I'm revising the length of descriptions wanted from 100-1000 words to 5-250 words. Please try to stay under the new limit.

Makes me wonder aswell.

Why replace good banners with something else, just "because"?
What happens if the sent in banners suck? - Sorry if I step on anybodies feet here, but quite frankly the GE never had THAT many good artists. Maybe three.

Oh and another thing:

Truth be told, I have never actually seen those banners. Since neither the Legion nor the ISB has a banner listed for it's respective roster, I never knew they existed.

And, of course, it's always interesting to see what people will come up with on their own.

EDIT: Syrt, anyway you might be able to edit the URL on the Legion banner, or at least remove it?

If you could, just go ahead and remove it, please. This solves two issues: A) We don't have an active Legion right now, and thus don't have a site for it, and B) we won't have to edit it in the future (as we can always have someone skilled add the URL later, if need be).

You can either post it to syrt.com or send it to la_forge@imperialsquadrons.net... your call. If you do the latter, please include the ISB banner.

And though that's a nice enough banner, the ISB did have an official motto, which would probably be better to include as well if you went ahead and archived it.

The motto was "The Prosecution Never Rests".

Calder: I submitted my motto along with the banner back in the day when the original ISB Banner and Motto Competition was going on. Needless to say, neither my banner, nor my motto won the competition. I wonder why... :P

Just a reminder, everyone, that I'm still looking for submissions. I've only recieved one Navy descriptions, and a handful of Army banners (along with Syrt's stuff, of which I'm still waiting to see edited

).

I really need some of these things, and I can't create it all myself now.
