Taking Applications for Aurek Leader

Ok fellow officers. I have applied for XO aboard the Chimaera and I need someone to take my place. You may apply if you are looking to have your first command. Or if your looking for change you may also apply.

I have a few requirements though.

1. You must have a BCC in Empire at War.
2. You have to have finished your Navy Officer's Exam with at least a 80% anything less is unsatisfactory.
3. Must have a 24-48 hour turnaround time for emails.
4. You must have original ideas for competitions and of how to run the ship.

Optional stuff that can help.

1. An ACC will prove to me that you have skills in EAW. This helps me to know that you can play ladder matches and have a chance.
2. A MoC is a plus because it will prove to me that you know what a combat sim is and that you play them.
3. Any exams with 80% or up will help your chances.
4. Having completed your Squadron Leader Exam with a score of 85% or better will help as well.

The application should include your perks, history, and what you will do and what you will expect from this position.

Erm... no offense, but isn't it customary to, you know, hold a new position before accepting applications for one's successor in the old one? Kudos to your self esteem, but it could also be interpreted as arrogance by some and, in fact, lower your chances of actually getting the promotion...

I understand Syrtaras sir. The only reason I did this was because Drazhar told me to find a replacement and I figured this was the best way to do it. He left me another email last night telling me he needed some time to think about it.

I just want to get everything in order just in case. I don't want to look lazy or anything. I actually have everything in order now in case I get called up. This was just something just in case. I didn't mean to offend or anything and I just messed this up didn't I. (Sobs) I guess I will aplogize and try again later.

Just kidding, but I did feel that way on the inside for a little bit. Why should it hurt my chances by being enthusiastic (Spelling is wrong)? I love my position, but I just want more. I lost my job and feel like what I am doing right now is sorely ineffiecent. (Spelling again) I mean't this one with no offense towards you or anybody. I just want everyone to know where I stand and what I want to achieve.

No need to apologize.

You can say something a 'little' more arrogant (or confident of your potential :p ) like:
"I feel I have very good chances of getting the position and I want to be as prepared as I can to fill the position quickly, in the best interest of the Navy and the Empire."

Of course, the Lord is right. You shouldn't open a position (yours) that is not 'officially' open. It will become the responsibility of the Ship XO or CO to Officially open it once it has become vacant. Exception being if you were ordered to do so.

Don't feel bad about it. But keep it in mind for the future. ;)

Thank you guys. I will be more mindful in the future. I'm still trying to recruit BTW. No luck though. If you want to help I would be very greatful. :D
