Morning gents,

I happen to study (well I'm kinda done studying, midways towards ending grade thesis) mech engineering too. I love the work shown here hehe I remember when I had to deal with casting had also the problem of not having rapid prototyping or even numeric control devices handy lol and we werent free to design anything we wanted, we all had to create same thing....obviously would make easier for the professor the evaluation process but w/e lol past is past.

I always wanted to have something like this. I'm one for buying that shiny little metal Imperial crest and use it like a hippie would use the peace symbol on his chest. Hippies wanted peace, I just want Pax Imperia hehehe.

As for the work itself seems pretty decent. I'm left wondering if you plan to work on the surface finishing. What I had in mind was a pretty shiny symbol...if you ever do it I'd love to see the final result.

This one shows strenght, makes me think on us emerging victorious after a hard, tough battle, I think it is now a matter of artistic perceptions but I definitely love what you've done there sir.

I've got a question tho: Â¿why the rebel logo? :P

You seem to be forgetting that our fresh recruits get to protect the fat, ugly, male Twi'lek dancers. ;-)

My partner for the lab made the other one; we used the same mold to simplify the process. :)
