I have requested to be demoted to trooper. I did not wish to have command, I constantly told the Fels, Antilies, Munroe and others I am not a commander, I cant command and I dont know how. Also that the strain was a bit much.

In short I have post traumatic stress, bipolarism, and a estrogen embalance. All of which to laymans means I go from happy to sad easily, but with triggers. One person in this club has been told this and those triggers. That person takes sick delight in spinning my moods wildly for whatever reason they do it.

I have been told I notice things others dont, I do not agree but who a I to argue with superiors. Maybe its just I view it differently do to cultural, lingual, and ethnicity backgrounds. I do not apologize and will not as I still see it as I am valid in my views.

I do not deal well with egos. If you want respect you show me respect, dont demand respect because you have a inflated sense of self worth. I also do not deal with bullys or bigots well.

I do not like to see members not be rewarded for there work, there is a sad trend with some unit commanders to do the barest minimum and it upsets me not because I work my ass off, but because its not fair to the members under those people who work and give there activity hoping for reward and arent even acknowledged.

In closing, something bad was said to me today by the man who knows my triggers. It is too vulgar and would be wrong to post here. This was the breaking step. So even though the CoA is forcing me to wait a week, I am stepping down to trooper. Also do to a majority of the Royal Guard viewing honor as a joke, a group whose made up history is steeped in honor, I wish to be removed from that group. It in my eyes is unbecoming to the red mantles.

Hopefuly this will allow some calmness to return. I sure want some.

There was no ego displayed. only a point to be proven, which the potential egotistical action was meant to argue. No one was demanding respect, only to not be harassed.

as for rewarding members...you're absolutely right. there are a few members who are not recognized. This is a sad truth, and yes it should be rectified.

Many of your points ARE valid, and good arguements too, but there was at least one that was fabricated.

You are a valued member of the GE. But you must keep in mind, this is NOT the real star wars universe, where honor and duels are valued as a source of recovering dignity. This is the real world, where there is next to no honor, and no matter what you do, you can't take honor seriously in it, not even for a fantasy online club.

I am saddened that you have decided to step down from command. Make no mistake, you were a good CO, and will always be a valued member in the GE.

But you MUST lower your standards. Real life comes first. That's unavoidable. So, the fantasy online club may have set deadlines or goals, but when real life has important details that need to be taken care of, then real life must take presidence.

Please, PLEASE, do not be offended by my words. I am not trying to shame you, or embarass you.

I am just trying to show you our side of the arguement.

My view of honour is a cultural thing, it was instilled in me by my parents. I know its anachronistic.

honor is not a bad thing. it's just that in this day and age, honor is often viewed as ridiculous, particularly when one tries maintain a strict and prideful code in a fantasy online club.
