[13:03:12] <@FA_Fel> After some time, General Burton has indicated his intention to step down from Army Command, owing primarily to personal reasons.
[13:03:27] <@FA_Fel> Burton climbed the ladder of command very quickly in the Army, due to his high levels of activity and devotion to the Empire. Certainly his strongest point was his multiplayer ability - during his tenure as Captain of the Royal Guard, he built an elite combat unit, feared in the Inter-Club Training Event.
[13:03:36] <@FA_Fel> Accepting General Burton's recommendation for a successor, I have promoted...
[13:03:36] <@FA_Fel> LCL Antillies / BRG-CO / 1st Brigade / Imperial Army

[13:03:42] <@FA_Fel> ...and confer upon him all the duties, responsibilities, and privileges that go with unit command. At this point, General Antillies not only joins the ranks of Army Command, but also Imperial High Command.
[13:03:47] <@FA_Fel> General Antillies has proven himself a very capable and competent officer throughout his service to the Empire. His shining example should be an inspiration to officers throughout the Empire.

[13:03:54] <@FA_Fel> 2) Closure of the Master-at-Arms Position
[13:04:00] <@FA_Fel> Major General Branet announced his intention to retire from the position of Master-At-Arms of the Imperial army. Although we are sad to see him depart, his dedication to the Empire has been exemplary. No doubt we will all miss his comprehensive reports... Your service to the Empire has been appreciated!
[13:04:07] <@FA_Fel> At this point, given the size of the Imperial Army, the position of Master-At-Arms will be closed. Major General Antillies will therefore handle all of the paperwork relating to the Army.

[13:04:21] <@FA_Fel> The second item is an unrelated note regarding the Army Placement Rank. In keeping with established military protocol, we will no longer have privates in command of platoons; instead, privates are the fictional officers under the platoon leader's direct supervision. Accordingly, the placement rank into the Imperial Army has been elevated from Private First Class (PFC) to Lance Corporal (LCP).

[13:04:51] <@FA_Fel> I have corrected a minor issue affected only people using ad-blocking software to browse GE Administration...
[13:04:58] <@FA_Fel> The default ad blocking pattern removed the top area of administration (showing who is logged in) matched an adblocking rule. This section was titled adminbanner, which matched up with ad + banner, causing its blockage. That area should appear properly for all users now.

[13:08:26] <@MGN_Antilies> As previously stated, MGN Burton and MGN Branet have chosen to step down from their respective positions as Commander of the Army and Master-at-Arms.
[13:08:36] <@MGN_Antilies> For their service to the army and the Empire, MGN Burton received the coveted Gold Seal and MGN Branet received a Silver Seal.
[13:08:42] <@MGN_Antilies> We mourn the loss of their service, but wish them the best for the future.
[13:08:51] <@MGN_Antilies> Additionally, with the vacancy in 1st Brigade, CPT Longstreet has been promoted to lieutenant colonel and CO of 1st Brigade.
[13:09:00] <@MGN_Antilies> He has already shown excellent leadership in his new position.
