I personnaly like the unit type of Corps. It´s the basic unit in army-related thoughts of myself. Instead of this I don´t like Divisions and Battallions or the thing called "Half-Brigade", I stay with Corps and Regiments and Brigades.

Can't say I've heard of the "Half-Brigade". Wouldn't that just be a fancy name for a Regiment? Or would that make too much sense....

I've never heard of that term before either. Typically a brigade consists of two to four regiments (which are made up of two battalions apiece). I would agree that a "half-brigade" would be a regiment or two.

Technically correct.

A half-brigade was normally a mix of 1-2 battallions + 1-2 regiments. France used it in the 18th century.

Could be in relation to the better known "Light Brigades" like GB used them.

EDIT:

In France it was taking the place of brigades between regiments and divisions
as basic, in this times brigades were not used.

Ah, gotcha. A Light Brigade (or Light Division) was simply because it was larger than a regiment (or brigade) yet smaller than a typical brigade (or division). That makes more sense...especially since the French used it.

Well, do you think you can juggle being the Commandant and Army Commander?

As said before, he is only the Acting Commandant. Soon after the Army becomes fully operational, a new Commandant will be chosen. He also mentioned that applications for Prefect and Commandant are NOT being accepted at the moment.

Hey, I don't want to be the Commandant or the Prefect. I'm just wondering if all that stress of being the Commandant and Army Commander will get to General Jansen. :? Well, one things for certain, when the Commandant spot is open, count me out.
