It would seem to me that the Empire is in dire need of new officers, I have been thinking of some ways to remedy this, and I was wondering if anybody had thought of advertising at conventions?

We could perhaps have Officers travel to conventions (In uniform if Possible) and hand out pins/buttons and/or leaflets/brochures about the Galactic Empire Empire Reborn. I know this is a rather ambitious idea, but if there are any convention going fans in our ranks perhaps they could give it a go, I know I will be doing my part and looking into local conventions.

As far as I know something like this has already been done. Big problem - who has
a uniform fitting correctly and with the actual RIP and medal bars?

Well ive tried what i could do alone. Ive posted about the EmpireReborn.net on my myspace. Problem is that i dont have many friends on there at the moment

At all we wouldnÂ´t need much new recruits, but at first much less AWOLs.

ThatÂ´s what I never understood at all, why doing the work to do this long enlistement and graduing the academy just to become AWOL. This is no mass-populated o-game.

I was actually looking at Imperial Officer uniform instructions yesterday, and for everything it should total around 150-200 USD.

Which is why I'm planning to get Royal Guard stuff, if I do go for anything. No need for constant updating due to the torrential flows of medals and promotions that I recieve.

Don't forget - if you want to represent the GE, you need a GOOD looking uniform. Not something stapled together. Now, I don't know about your skills with a sewing machine, but somehow I doubt you guys have that much experience and I know at least how hard certain stuff is, when it comes to sewing. Also, when I read the thread posted by Jagged on IRC yesterday and "heavily modified pattern" jumps into view....

I have an idea, now see im in the prossces of making a ID card that we could use if you cant get a uniform. Also i have gotten 3 new recurits by just printing out the GE:ER Filer and posting it in my school.

I gave out 800 of those fliers at the EP3 day in London Leicester Square. Was good fun. 4 per page just about works.
