Empire Day! Saturday 11th March 2006

Greetings! As per my recent email, it is my pleasure to announce the official Empire Day 2006! Slightly delayed from the 2nd anniversary of the rebirth, this day will be a day for all to hae informal chats with officers, a few celebrations and general good will to all

I myself should be available for some period of the day on IRC, as well as AIM. I would imagine many others will come to join in the celebrations on IRC (our main focus for this event). A simple meeting will take place at 1800 GMT (although not a formal one).

In addition the ladder winners will be announced and the ladders reset for the spring session! I should be around for a few ladder games as well on a variety of platforms -- an excellent opportunity to challenge the HC to some games.

I look forward to seeing you on Saturday!

Righto, I'll go put in the order for the waiter Ewoks. I suppose I'll need to change their normal attire, but logistics will figure something out.

I'd say today was a great success; when I popped into the channel there were 29 people. That's the highest it's been since... well, years. Very nice work.

Yes, I didnÂ´t expected the channel to get that crowded. There was even some "guest stars" like Deamon and Palantas :p

School? Empire Day lasts for one day only and unless you go to Saturday school, there's no school anyway.
