Tuesday evening and I'm all alone with X on mIRC!

I don't see a lot of new faces in there. I think we should have to register in mIRC from day one at the Academy.

Could we have this as a requirement to graduate?

I don't think we can really do that, much the same as we can't force them to join the MBs.

mIRC and the MBs are only optional. They are not required, but recommended. If we changed that, it would cause more problems than solutions.

I will put down here what I said in channel last night, when Mar mentioned this.

I don't think making mIRC "mandatory" is a good idea, however something needs to be changed. In the past, all we did is "downgrade" the requirements and I do not understand why.

I agree with Mar that we need more activity to be mandatory, but on a different level in a different way. Thus I have just written a page long proposal to the High Command and maybe we'll get somewhere with that.

Anyways, thanks go to MAR for getting me off my lazy butt and reminding me of a big problem!

Btw, is it just me or is there no longer a "activity requirements" section in the officers manual?

I think activity requirements are located in the Charter, actually, but I'll take a look at my archived version manuals.

Don't forget that time zones play a good part in activity levels on IRC, can't be awake 24/7

Yep. There are only a few hours where people from Germany, Cananda, America, and Britian are all online at the same time.

Usually noon and later EST are the best times.
