Description: Galsauvir is unique among the planets of the Lanthrym System for a variety of reasons. The dense cloud cover is very heavy, yet at the same time, shifts rapidly. Many places on the planet, especially near the equator, recieve sublight for a few hours every two or three weeks; those near the poles, however, may never recieve sunlight due to both a high cloud cover and the axis rotation of the planet.

Furthermore, the orbit of Galsauvir is highly irregular, or perhaps too regular. The orbital eccentricity of Galsauvir is an incredible .001. Scientists are still mystified as to the reason for this near perfection.

Galsauvir possesses no native life forms, though large skeletons of multi-legged animals have been found. It is doubtful that intelligent life had time to develop, though it does appear that mammal-like creatures with heavy fur evolved. Why they died out is still a mystery today.

This planet is known for a multitude of geological features. The Ralan Craters are the largest of a series of craters near the northern pole. A vast, haze-filled canyon exists near the equator; it is known for its many unusual rock layers and almost perfect vertical walls.

Imperial Security maintains a penal colony in the southern hemisphere of Galsauvir. Other than this, the planet is barren and lifeless.
