Description: Comet X-25-OX-55 is one that has recently been heavily studied, though it’s hard for it is track-able for only 30 years at a time. It has a unique orbit that has it go through the inner systems and curve and exit the system and enter a recorded black hole. Then within a two years time it reappears on the other side of the system in the Tifnylian Nebula. Scientists believe that there is some form of “wormhole” effect but are unable to study it since all probes they send into the particular black hole never re-appear and they get no information. The Tifnylian Nebula has so much dense gas in it that sensors and scans will not work and one can only see about a foot away from their bridge, so no clues have been found from that location. Scientists believe that the comet passes into some other area, or areas and travels for the two years on its course until it goes through another such portal and appears in the Nebula. This is an amazingly rare event, since it would be incredible that the enter/exit points are so close to each other. Scientists hope to unlock hidden abilities or technologies to use, however the comet takes too long to properly study the effect with. Inhabitants of the Tifnyl system believe that it is related to the moon Tifnyl I and its legend of an “alien core”, but Imperial Scientists have officially ruled that out as a possibility because scans of the moon have shown nothing other than rock. The Comet is currently passing through the system and is within sight from the planets Tifnyl and Gameno.
