Offical Description

Imperial Intelligence has identified a situation within the Rebel Alliance that is of significant concern to the Empire at large. This threat cannot be dealt with in a direct manner, and Imperial High Command has authorized a covert effort. A small group of focused, carefully selected officers, is expected to be able to deal with the situation from inside the rebellion.

Code Name Description Platform Missions
ERS-182OSII-1: CounterstrikeTake part in the standard "Command Training" exercise, which will be a test of your mettle as a commander!EaW1
ERS-183OSII-1: Ground ExercisesGround pounding isn't a navy officer's idea of a good time, and not only because they don't relish the snickers of the Army Troopers watching a bunch of Navy boys struggle with what is, after all, a trooper's home turf...GB1
ERS-184OSII-2: The UnthinkableOur troops have "defected" to the Rebel Alliance and now the Rebels want to evaluate our skills to find out if we're really as good as we say we are. The next such simulated training exercise will be conducted with our own equipment because we are familiar with it. We aren't sure what the Rebels will throw at us, but there's only one way to find out! TIE1
ERS-185OSII-2: The UnthinkableOur troops have "defected" to the Rebel Alliance and now the Rebels want to evaluate our skills to find out if we're really as good as we say we are. They figure our "pasteboard boxes" (they mean our TIE Interceptors) won't last long out there, so we better learn how to handle some Rebel fighters, too. (NOTE: This mission must be played as the Rebels - open in the Rebel menu)XvT1
ERS-186OSII-2: The UnthinkableOur troops have "defected" to the Rebel Alliance and now the Rebels want to evaluate our skills to find out if we're really as good as we say we are. They figure our "pasteboard boxes" (they mean our TIE Interceptors) won't last long out there, so we better learn how to handle some Rebel fighters, too. XWA1
ERS-187OSII-2: The UnthinkableOur troops have "defected" to the Rebel Alliance and now the Rebels want to evaluate our skills to find out if we're really as good as we say we are. They think we won't believe it, but they have more problems with pirates than the Empire. The pirates seem to think the Rebels are weaker, less organized, and more vulnerable to piracy... Here's a simulation they have for us from the past: We are to stop some pirates encroaching on the asteroid mining facility. GB1
ERS-188OSII-2: The UnthinkableOur troops have 'defected' to the Rebel Alliance and now the Rebels want to evaluate our skills to find out if we're really as good as we say we are! (NOTE: This mission *must* be played as Rebels.)EaW1
ERS-190OSII-3: Under False FlagsPirates have attacked a local platform. The platform's defences have repelled the attack, but they cannot pursue to stop the pirates. We've been sent ahead to take on the pirates because the ship could not make it, due to mechanical failure. We need to stop the pirates from escaping. TIE1
ERS-191OSII-3: Under False FlagsPirates have attacked a local platform. The platform's defences have repelled the attack, but they cannot pursue to stop the pirates. We've been sent ahead to take on the pirates because the ship could not make it, due to mechanical failure. We need to stop the pirates from escaping. XvT1
ERS-192OSII-3: Under False FlagsPirates have attacked a local platform. The platform's defences have repelled the attack, but they cannot pursue to stop the pirates. We've been sent ahead to take on the pirates because the ship could not make it, due to mechanical failure. We need to stop the pirates from escaping. XWA1
ERS-193OSII-3: Under False FlagsWe managed to get almost all of the pirates, but some got away and are hiding in the asteroid belt of this system. Chase them down!EaW1
ERS-198OSII-4: Research RescueIn order to allow the commandos to land on the planet to rescue the scientists, Obsidian squadron is attacking a factory in system, while the main defences are drawn away by another group...TIE2

ERS-200OSII-4: Research RescueIn order to allow the commandos to land on the planet to rescue the scientists, Obsidian squadron is attacking a factory in system, while the main defences are drawn away by another group...XWA2
ERS-201OSII-4: RESEARCH RESCUEIn order to allow the commandos to land on the planet to rescue the scientists, the second task unit draws Harrsk's defences away from the planet by attacking a nearby system!EaW1
ERS-202OSII-4: Research RescueWith several groups of space units covering for them, a team of commandos must infiltrate Harrsk's prison facility and rescue some very important scientists!GB2
ERS-203OSII-5: Convoy CoverProtect the Rebel convoy against Warlord Harrsk's attacks, so that the resupply operation can get the Rebel scientists the supplies they need!TIE1

ERS-205OSII-5: Convoy CoverProtect the Rebel convoy against Warlord Harrsk's attacks, so that the resupply operation can get the Rebel scientists the supplies they need!XWA1
ERS-206OSII-5: Convoy CoverWe need to get lots of supplies to provide the materiel for the scientist team to complete their research, but we cannot simply walk into the local supply store and purchase what we need...GB1
ERS-207OSII-5: CONVOY COVERProtect the Rebel convoy against Warlord Harrsk's attacks, so that the resupply operation can get the Rebel scientists the supplies they need!EaW1
ERS-208OSII-6: Seek and DestroyedWe are scouting out a planet for the Rebel scientists to deploy their project. This target is along a shipping route, but we hope it will be suitable!XvT1
ERS-209OSII-6: Seek and DestroyedWe are scouting out a planet for the Rebel scientists to deploy their project. This target is normally a base for Harrsk, but his battlegroup should be out on maneuvers now, allowing us to sneak through - if we are quick!XWA1
ERS-210OSII-6: Seek and DestroyedWe are scouting for a planet for the Rebel scientists to deploy their project. This target is a quiet PLT orbiting a habitable moon. We expect the greatest chance of success here...TIE1

ERS-215OSII-7: A Fine LineOur attack on the hyperspace platform was a disaster, but we managed to escape...GB1
ERS-216OSII-7: A Fine LineOur attempted attack on the Imperial hyperspace patrol failed and we've had to make an emergency hyperjump out. We need to navigate the asteroid field without being noticed so we can hype back to rebel space...EaW1
ERS-218OSII-8: HonestyApparently the Rebellion was not terribly honest with us about what it is that is going on with the "Scientists", who turned out not be scientists at all. Apparently additional expertise is needed, so we are meeting up with Kyp Durron, of Sun Crusher Incident fame. Someone of his profile is bound to attract attention, of the kind we do not want...XvT1

ERS-220OSII-9: CHOICESIt looks like the attack of the VSD Adamant was sufficient to slow us down, enough that we were ambushed by a serious Imperial Battlegroup! Fortunately for us, they didn't slow us down as much as they wanted to, and the Interdictor is a bit too close for the Imperials' comfort! We will only have one shot at escaping, and this is it! TIE1
